| Morning | General English | CET Vancouver offers small, friendly classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, where experienced teachers help studetns reach their language potential. Lessons are created to reflect each student’s needs and interests and based on Cambridge University ESL programs. |
| Afternoon | Electives | CET Vancouver combines different workshops which aim to develop your abilities in the areas where students need the most practice. Combinations vary from month to month. Each program usually accounts for a daily 45-minute lesson Monday to Thursday. For example: Academic and Professional Writing from 1 to 2 pm followed by Active Listening until 3 pm. |
| Business English | The world of competitive business – How important is it? We now live in a global village, so CET Vancouver is pleased to equip any business student with international English Proficiency skills. Modules cover topics such as: products, interviewing, presentations, advertising, business and market expertise, business grammar & communication etiquette, and media negotiation. | |
| Work Place Preparation | For students choosing the Work Placement program, CET Vancouver offers a one-week specialized course work to help you prepare for and make the most of your Canadian work experience. Improve your confidence and language skills in work-related activities before going out into the workplace. The course will cover resume and cover letter writing, soft skills: interviewing, networking, customer service, contracts and work place relationships. | |
| English for the Hospitality Industry | Participation and successful conclusion of the 4-week course results in a guaranteed job placement for a maximum of 1 year in one of our partner hotels. Focus for all students is on hotel employment, most time being devoted to restaurant service, but also looking at front office and housekeeping language. Upon completion of the course students will feel comfortable using English in the role of their chosen job placement. | |

Beyond English is a dynamic new program where you can choose from hundreds of courses offered around the city after school, in the evenings, and on weekends. You can practice the language skills learning something new or getting better at something you already know how to do. Classes are delivered in different Colleges, Community Centres and Professional Schools. Duration and program costs vary according to the course selection. Students are responsible for the cost of the extra-curricular activities. |
| Customized Programs | Business English | CET Vancouver offers specialised training programs specific to the needs of international executives. Programs can be arranged starting from one week minimum. CET Vancouver will create unique content giving students a competitive advantage and confidence in their ability to communicate in a business environment. |
